This is an overview of one of the 2 particle effects I created for Valve Software's "Team Fortress 2" Smissmas 2020 Update. The Steam Workshop page can be found here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2285236831

The goal of this project was to design and implement a winter-themed and visually appealing particle effect, without being demanding performance wise. I ended up watching a LOT of winter FX videos, mainly inspired by the fantastic work the "Frozen 2" team did with their FX, and came up with the idea of creating a magical snowstorm that would have gigantic snowflakes softly falling. I came up with three seperate color schemes, inspired by variants of snow you can find in real life. Blue being generic, normal snow, Reddish pink for "Watermelon snow", and Yellow, for well, you know,

I was the Project Lead, as well as responsible for overall particle design and creation.
I enlisted the help of 1 other community members in this project.
