A cross section of a wave simulation that demonstrates a wave crest rolling over itself multiple times as it breaks onto the shore. Not a super practical simulation, just was a cool shot that I wanted to add to my demo reel. Simulated with 3DS Max and Phoenix and rendered with V-Ray.

Simulation time: 6 Hrs 32 Mins
Render time: 2 Days, 4 Hrs, 45 Minutes, Avg 21 Mins a frame including light caching.
