Emoting near another player with the "Guardian Rising" buff will trigger a buff application on yourself, giving you the same speed boost as if you ranked up and a soft silver glow!
I had the absolute pleasure of creating and implementing an additional feature to the Guardian Ranks system in the form of the Celebratory Companion Buff. Celebrate your fellow Guardian's achievements, gain a special glow and speed boost yourself in return.
I was responsible for creating and setting up the VFX, as well as setting up the underlying tech design. I worked closely with the Player Identity Team in order to get this out the door.
