I had the pleasure of coming up with and creating Taken Variations for the Legendary weapon ornaments that could be used on the Original Reckoning Weapon sets for Destiny 2: Season of the Deep. I wanted to reward longtime players by introducing the ability to socket the old ornaments on the new Taken Variants of the original weapons, and in turn give them a Taken flavoring when socketed, but stay the same if they were socketed into the old versions.
I worked closely with Mark Uyeda on the Investment side of things in order to ship this feature to players. The results speak for themselves!
